The things i have learned from past experience before showing demo to anyone...

• Spelling mistakes.
• Grammatical mistakes.
• Is all fields validation are done or not.
• Is all links are working or not.
• The Data shown in each screen is properly aligned or not.
• Camel case letters in screen.

This are the simple mistakes one would need to avoid...

Lets see if i could list out some more... moreover need to take care for next project demos

Short Trip to Mantralayam

Again One more trip!!! This time with Family(My Parents, 2 sisters and their family and My mother's friend). As it was planned long back and tickets got reserved (train) for the journey date of 5th June. Behind the trip to Mantralayam one reason was there. My father is a Asthama patient, he use to take the medicines from one place near Hospet, which is abt 150 kms(don't know exactly). Previous times my mother use to accompany my Father. But this time we all decided to got to Mantralayam for One day trip.

As my father booked the tickets early though, But tickets were not confirmed till the date of journey. After seeing only the chart, we got confirmed all the tickets booked. My Family members started journey from the mysore, as it was planned i was to join them in Bangalore Station. On the Journey day evevning i was at office till the my bro-in-law told they already reached Bangalore station around 9pm. Train was to departure at 10:30 pm.

All of us got assembled at station around 9:30pm, were waiting for the train(and chart to see the tickets confirmed or not ). After train came and tickets also got confirmed, every one got into the respective seats, later on w

e adjusted in such a way that all of us got into the same compartment. thanks to those who had given the seats.

Usually i don't get sleep in train, so it continued in Mantryalam trip also. every now and often i use to wake up and seat and was trying to sleep. But somehow was not feeling much drowsy.

6th Morning

Train arrived in Mantryalam road, which is 15 km far from Mantralayam. Every one got down safely with lugguages. Then had to catch a bus from there to reach Mantrayalam. After reaching Mantralayam we thought we could get a lodge of Temple trust, but as it was full on that day. We had to go to Karantaka Bhavan(Guest house), surprisingly it was good.

We got 2 rooms, price was really cheaper as it was for the Karnatka People, it was good to stay.

One thing i observed as soon as i landed in Mantralam is it looks more or like Gulbarga, where i studied my Engineerin

g for 4 long years(i think it was good reminder for the memories...)

After Every one got freshed, We eat tiffin in Udupi restaurant, which was near by temple area. And went to for river to have have bath there. The River flows there is Thunga Bandra river, it was starting of mansoon so not much water was there. But still me, my 2 bro-in-laws enjoyed in water for almost 1 hour.

Others memebers took bath, and got redied meanwhile. It was around 11:30am we went to temple. Feel was good to go there have have darshan, for darshan all

men should remove their shirt(banian also), we got the darshan in 15 mins, one more round of darshan we did. It was around 12:30pm we finished dashha

n. Took prasdam for my friends(Even though i could not give to my friend).

6th Afternoon

At that time everyone was feeling hungry, so we dicided to have lunch in temple's Annasantarpana mantap. Usually in temples Lunch will be too good. Lunch was really too good, they served first dal, then rice, sambar and Payasam and curd rice. Every one eat full stomach.

After that my nieces(Manya, Munni, and Diksha) was asking for some fancy things to shop, so shopped for another 1 hours in temple area.

After that we had planned to go to Panchamukhi Hanjaneya temple which was 22 kms from the Mantralayam. To go to that place we had hire Auto, So got into one auto which had capacity of 10 memebers. But road was in bad condition everyone's back was paining for half an hour.

The temple was build in rocks only. People says it was actually a place where Lord Hanjeneya use to live. As it was saturday there was a bit rush in temple, but got the darshan fast, got back into the Auto place, Same problem while going back to the temple.

6th Evening

After reaching guest house, took rest for 1 hour, before packing up the lugguages. Got fresh and started towards Railway station. Ohh!! the autowala was drunkard this time, even his auto was looking like him only. That junk auto was not at all going beyond 20 kms speed. I got so much of irritation from that guy.But couldn't do anything :( :( .

As usuall train was late, it came almost 1 hr late, In b/w we packed food nearby hotel for the night and after got into the train, we were all got tired and had food and slept peacefully.

In the morning(around 6:15am) train reached Bangalore exact time(though i was surprised!!!). I got down in Bangalore and my family went back to Mysore in another train.

thats that end of another trip!!!

Adventurous trip to Waynad, Kerala

A trip to Waynad, Kerala Planned by my roommates just before 1 week for the 3 days long weekend of 1st May to 3rd May. Trip Planned well even though execution was wrong. As most of the friends were from Software background we know plan always fails.[:)]. Trip planned and got around 21 people for the Trip, My roommates(Vinod, Kamesh, Narayana a big PRP fan and Suri) and Mahesh's Friends. We booked 2 Tempo travellers for the Journey Just before 1 day.

30th April Night.

The Journey Started on 30th April night around 10-11 pm, Where my roomates, I had plan to join them from Mysore, my home town. As I was left to Mysore to cast my precious Vote[:)] on 29th of April only, As General election was in Mysore on 30th April. I was anxiously waiting to get in to the cab, at last our cab reached at early morning 4Am to Mysore. Huff!!! i got into the cab, journey started towards Kapetta, Kerala via Najangudu-Gundlupete.

1st May.

Around 6-7 we reached waynad RTO check post. Climate was awesome in the morning, with fog. From there Kalpetta was around 40kms. We reached Kalpetta around 7:30am and got the Guest House booked one.

We took rest for a 2 hrs, and we started Towards Meenmuty Water falls around 11:30 am. Meenmuty Water falls was around 22 kms so we reached the place. Our Driver[Gopi] stopped cab just before the road ends, so we started walking towards the Water Falls.

The Water falls was really awesome one should see in life time, Its life time experience. Climbing the hills, its kind of Trecking cum climbing and using ropes, very small foot path, We lost tons of sweat to see the water falls.

The Water falls was really awesome with water falling 500 meter on the rocks which makes rainbow every often. After watching falls from long distance. It was time to Play with Water, It was different place where we have to play in water, But water was bit muddy kind of. But still we enjoyed in water for half an hour.

By the time we came out from water it was around 4pm, Everyone was seriously hungry. When we before reaching the waterfalls, there was a home food, We ordered the food so that by the time we came back food will be ready.

The Food was good, Bit kerala style added in that. Fish, Chicken and meals total package was good. One thing was everybody was hungry, so no one questioned anything.

After had a good food we started to go back to our guest house as there was no other place to visit on that day time was showing around 5:30pm. So we left with our memories of Water falls to our guest house. While going got down in between to take some snaps With Whole Group.


In the nite we had little snacks as one one was feeling hungry. Watched IPL match B/w Punjab v/s Bangalore team. It was good Bangalore team won the match after series of defeats.

That's the end of 1st Day.






2nd May.

As usual everyone got ready lately, we(Viond, Kamesh and me) went for Photo shoot in nature, It was good. Took lot of pics with different angle, tried new Camera techinques. took snaps with Aperture mode and some other things.

Morning Breakfast this time we had it in Udupi Restaruant, I was little surprised by seeing Udupi Restarurant there. Food was really good. After breakfast we started towards the Next place that is ViewPoint. ohh!!! it was really awesome at the same time scary to see in such view.

Again took some snaps, and started moving towards next Place. The Next place was Pookod Lake, which was on the return way to kalpetta from view point. Lake was good. everyone was interested in Pedal boating. So got into the pedal boating for 40 mins. It lot of snaps in between.

After reaching Kalpetta we had lunch in Woodland Restaurant. It was okey kind of food. By the Time we finished Lunch it was around 3:30pm.
3rd place for the 2nd day was Edakal Caves. which is 25 Kms from Kalpetta. comes in Sulthan Bathery town. Time was running out as entry will be till 5pm only. Somehow we managed to reach the place around 4:15pm, where we had to catch a jeep to go up to the Caves. We could not get the jeep as it was booked it 5pm. the route was 900meters distance, we started climbing, It was really terrific experience, with tons of sweating, fully tiered, but at last we managed to reach the gate with in 5pm. Got the tickets and entered inside the caves. There was not much too see except the words which were written around 4000bc years back. and narrow space between two rocks. we were little disappointed by seeing nothing after climbing such a hard steps.

After that we alted for a while near where our cab driver parked our Cab. Played Football cum basketball. Everthing we tried to get relax and time pass also. It was around 7:30pm we left the place and reached Kalpetta back and had dinner at K T C restaurant. And back to guest house.

Some of my Friends planned for Kamp Fire, but the whole day was tiersome. we could not join for camp fire, we took rest in our guest house.

That ends 2nd day.

3rd May.

Morning started with our nature photography again. Everyone got readied by 9am this time[:)]. Packaged all the luggage's to vacate the guest house. As it was the last day stay in Kalpetta. All luggages dumped into the cab, started journey towards next place that is Bansura Dam, which is around 25kms from Kalpetta. We reached Dam around 11:30pm, Again there we had to catch the Jeep service to reach the place. This time we got the jeep and reached the place easily. Banasura Dam is Asia's 2nd Largest dam, but i didn't see like that. Its not even half of our KRS dam. But Don't know in what sense its bigger.

There is one of the best moments of the trip that is Speed Boating, its worth money. Speed boating for 5 persons, we(Vinod, Kamesh, suri and me) went in as 1st batch. Its thrilling experience, we gave some bucks to the driver, he pumped up and started to thrill us. tilting boat from both ends, its almost boat going to be in water kind of. huff!!! we really got thrilling by that experience. 15 min was really worth in our life at least!!!.

After all batch completes we were back to the cab place. then started towards Kalpetta to have lunch and to proceed towards Mysore. In Kalpetta we had nice lunch(Kerala Chikken biriyani and Fish) . Food was really nice. I purchased some sweets(Kerala Halwa, special Lakshdweep Halwa and Jerry fruits to my little niece) to my home people. We had a plan to go to Waynad wild life sanctuary which falls on the way to Mysore. Again Time was running out we suppose to reach wild life sanctuary by 5pm. But could not managed to do so. It was 5:15pm, sad we couldn't make it. We requested forest officer but of no use.

So after little disappointment, we started moving towards Mysore via gundlupet. In between planned to visit Nanjundeshwara Temple in Nanjanagud. At 7:15pm we reached Nanjanagud. Visited temple, some of my friends amazed by seeing such big temple. It was nice, no rush as it was Sunday evening. Finished darshan in quick time, My friends said they want to visit Mysore palace, But the Time was short as Palace can be seen with lights on Sunday only between 7:00 pm to 8:00pm. Still we tried to reach Mysore asap, but in vein it was 8:15pm lights were already switched off.

Some purchased for those dear ones, After that i invited everyone to my home, which was on the way to Bangalore. As it was Sunday my Father and sister was there at home.

Good things usually end so soon, the journey ended!!!

Totally trip was like a kind of Adventure!!!

Everyone Enjoyed Kelara nature, Food and eveything...!

My Home people didn't like the Kerala Sweets, But my niece liked the jerry friuts[:)]

Again as asual i wake in the morning and catch a train to Bangalore....!!!

Experience of working in RAC project!!!

The project Railway Association of Canada[RAC], We(me and Ulhas) started working from Dec 2008. Our PM called up us for a patch work to do in this project, but actually it was different story. After shifting from our Good old office[Sahkar nagar,Bangalore] to Hebbal office, Bangalore, Initially it was tough to adjust to the office, people to work with. After struggling for 15 days we came to know what we need to do[:)].

The concept of the project was really good. But the understanding of the project was poor[honest comment] from our people. After working hard for 15 days we delivered somthing to client(actually it was scrap [:)] ), Client return with a bomb, which exploded, end result is have to rework on entire thing, from design to coding[:(].

In Design level only client has rejected the first build, The design even though it was good, but not good enough to convey what it was suppose to convey.

After again 1 month of continuous hard work on design we come to one level, and winded up the design part. Even though they were many things which are unclear, non-understandable, No inter-relation between 2 modules and lot more things...
With reworked design, we started coding with out approval of client on design document. Repeating the same mistake was done before. In code level there were many difficulites like the usage of Openlayer on top of the google maps. Editing of tracks, adding tracks, search part of web application... may more. We started with doing R&D on Open layers to draw tracks on maps, adding new tracks and editing tracks. I must say this was one of the toughest thing we did R&D on our life, with little help from google. Struggle for 2 weeks to find out the ideal solution, but atlast we succed in the challenge.

After tough 2 weeks on R&D, we implemented the same thing in RAC Application. With the enough R&D on openlayer we were able to add Track and edit Track. On the day we felt we are the most happiest persons the world[:) :)]

With the tough part over the other part of coding was easy, so the coding part was completed by around 20th march, then testing and other bugs fixing work was also been done.

But in between bitter mail exchanges between us and Our PM ruined our relationship(due to unexplainable reasons), That made us to take further challange to complete project and show our caliber of what we can do.

Today the project is up with all features which suppose to be[:)] even with Internationalization(french support). We felt really happy after completing the project with 3 and half months duration. We thought it could have been better we would have regular meeting/conference with client, Client was so stubborn, Still this was one kind of experience.
